Braves' Markakis gets standing ovation in return to Baltimore

For the better part of a decade, Nick Markakis manned right field for the Baltimore Orioles.

In his first plate appearance at Camden Yards as a member of the Atlanta Braves, the Orioles faithful gave him a standing ovation:

The right fielder is currently enjoying a productive season with the Braves. He is hitting .286 with 32 RBI in 97 games with Atlanta.

He was known as a consistent producer in Baltimore with a .290 average and double-digit home runs in each of the nine seasons with the team.
