Braves GM says team is keeping Freddie Freeman during Twitter chat

The offseason is slow for teams (and the media!), so to help pass the time and fill timelines, they often hold Twitter chats with executives to sort of peel back the curtains.

The Atlanta Braves held such a chat Thursday with new general manager John Coppolella:

When asked about the opportunity to chase a big bat this offseason, "Coppy" left the door open -- but still was adamant about keeping Freddie Freeman:

There have been plenty of trade rumors surrounding Freeman this offseason, causing the first-time GM to come out and say that he'd "give my right arm" before trading Freeman.

He also, interestingly, gave a peek into the team's draft strategy for the upcoming draft:

Naturally, with these chats, the questions are chosen by the organization and plenty are left ignored or unseen. Here are some highlights:

You can head over to the Braves' Twitter account to see all of Coppolella's tweets -- he apparently loves nachos.
