Braves activate Kelly Johnson from DL, send Terdoslavich down to Triple-A

The Atlanta Braves activated outfielder Kelly Johnson from the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday, sending down Tuesday night's hero in conjunction with the move.

To make room for Johnson, who hasn't played for the Braves since May 13, the organization sent outfielder Joey Terdoslavich back down to Triple-A less than 24 hours after he boosted the Braves to victory with a game-winning solo home run in the bottom of the eighth.

Manager Fredi Gonzalez used Terdoslavich as a pinch-hitter in the past two weeks. His only hit in four at-bats was his home run on Tuesday night, the first of his major-league career.

Gonzalez immediately reinserted Johnson back into left field for the Braves game against the San Diego Padres on Wednesday night.
