To make room for Johnson, who hasn't played for the Braves since May 13, the organization sent outfielder Joey Terdoslavich back down to Triple-A less than 24 hours after he boosted the Braves to victory with a game-winning solo home run in the bottom of the eighth.

Manager Fredi Gonzalez used Terdoslavich as a pinch-hitter in the past two weeks. His only hit in four at-bats was his home run on Tuesday night, the first of his major-league career.
Gonzalez immediately reinserted Johnson back into left field for the Braves game against the San Diego Padres on Wednesday night.
