Bourjos hits inside-the-park HR vs. Twins
Los Angeles Angels speedster Peter Bourjos hit an inside-the-park home run against the Minnesota Twins.
After the Angels fell behind 3-1 in the fourth inning, Bourjos came to the plate with two on and two out in the fifth. He hit a rocket to left on the first pitch, and Josh Willingham slammed into the wall trying to track it down.
As center fielder Denard Span came over to pick up the ball, Bourjos flew around the bases just behind Chris Iannetta for a 4-3 lead Wednesday night.
It's the first inside-the-park homer for Bourjos, and the first one for the Angels since Gary Matthews Jr. hit one off Brett Tomko of the Dodgers on June 17, 2007.
