Blue Jays SS Escobar out for 4th straight game
Shortstop Yunel Escobar was a late scratch from the Toronto lineup Tuesday night, missing his fourth straight game since being hit by a pitch in the left hand.
Blue Jays manager John Farrell had Escobar in the original lineup at Boston, but wanted to see how he did in batting practice.
John McDonald shifted from shortstop to second base. Mike McCoy started at second.
Escobar was injured when hit by a pitch from Philadelphia's Kyle Kendrick. Escobar was 10 for 20 during a five-game hitting streak before he was hit.
