Blue Jays outfielder trips over bullpen mound, gets beaned by foul ball

The San Francisco Giants' AT&T Stadium is one of the four MLB ballparks with bullpen mounds on the field in foul territory, which can become a danger obstacle for fielders running to catch a foul ball. During the sixth inning of Monday's Blue Jays-Giants game, Brandon Crawford popped a ball up that should have been the third out of the inning, but left fielder Michael Saunders stumbled over the mound and couldn't make the play.

The ball hit Saunders in the head, but he was fortunately uninjured.
