Blue Jays lefty Price not available to pitch in ALDS Game 5
Blue Jays left-hander David Price will not be available out of the bullpen in Game 5 of the AL Division Series against Texas.
Price threw 50 pitches in a three-inning relief stint in Game 4, which Toronto won 8-4.
No Loup again for #BlueJays. Gibbons reluctant to use Price, but might. “I’ve got to look out for him,” Gibbons said. “I have a conscience.”

If we see Price for #BlueJays, it likely would be for one batter, something like that. Nothing extended.

Left-hander Aaron Loup is also unavailable Wednesday. Loup is away from the team dealing with a personal matter. The Blue Jays have not disclosed the reason for his absence.
With lefty Brett Cecil out for the postseason after tearing his left calf in Game 2, Toronto doesn't have any left-handed pitchers available for the decisive game.
Manager John Gibbons says right-hander Marco Estrada could be available in relief of Marcus Stroman. Estrada started and won Game 3.
Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre is in the lineup for Game 5, batting fourth. He left Game 1 with a strained back but returned with two hits in Game 4.
