Toronto Blue Jays slugger Edwin Encarncion had a good week.

Like, 17 RBI in six games good.

Add in six home runs and a .391 average and Encarnacion was a no-brainer for American League Player of the Week:

What's even crazier is if you add in two games from last week as well. Since August 22 through Sunday's games, Encarncion is hitting .484 with seven homers, 24 RBI in 31 at-bats.

On Monday, he extended his hitting streak to 26 games.
