Big Papi joins the effort to recruit Kevin Durant to Boston
The Boston Celtics went all in Saturday, agreeing to a $113 million deal with Al Horford, meeting with Kevin Durant and having Tom Brady quarterback their sales pitch to him.
If that wasn't enough, they had Big Papi in the on-deck circle.
Yo @KDTrey5 sorry I couldn't make the meeting today but Brady will tell u they don't call Boston the City of Champions for nothing ???

The Red Sox could've used Papi pitching for them, literally, on Saturday. The City of Champions' baseball team gave up 21 runs to the Angels.
