Baseball player goes flying over fence to make spectacular diving grab
Luis Veras of the Hillsboro Hops (Diamondbacks Single-A affiliate) lived up to the team name on Sunday by leaping for a foul ball that sent him flying over an outfield fence.
The 22-year-old drilled the fence (fortunately a padded one) at his waist with his arm extended outside the field when momentum sent him headfirst up and over. Veras held on and quickly collected himself as a young fan handed him the hat that fell off during the play.
Remember, kids, it's always safer to go over the fence than through it.
