Barry Bonds gets tossed for arguing a strike call from the dugout

It took far longer than many expected, but Barry Bonds finally had another run-in with an umpire.

The Marlins first-year hitting coach was ejected from Wednesday’s 1-0 loss to the Giants for arguing a called third strike with home-plate umpire Cory Blaser.

Perhaps most impressively, Bonds managed to get the boot from the dugout while questioning the pitch to Chris Johnson that ended the sixth inning. Once ejected, Bonds came onto the field to continue the argument.

It marks the first time Bonds has been ejected as a coach. And it probably won’t be the last.
