Astros recall outfielder Hoes from Triple-A

SAN DIEGO (AP) The Houston Astros recalled OF L.J. Hoes from Triple-A Fresno on Monday.

Hoes was hitting .418 with 9 doubles and 12 RBI in 15 games for Fresno, ranking second in the Pacific Coast League in doubles and batting average.

Houston also optioned RHP Asher Wojciechowski to Triple-A Fresno. Wojciechowski was 0-1 with a 7.31 ERA in four appearances - three starts - for the Astros. He allowed 13 earned runs over 16 innings, including two home runs and seven walks. He had 16 strikeouts.
