A's don bright yellow throwbacks

It’s hard not to have a soft spot for some things from the past. Then again, there are things that are better off behind us — like the A's throwback jerseys from 1969.

The Athletics donned the bright yellow uniforms when they hosted the Angels on Saturday afternoon. Oakland defeated Los Angeles 3-1, so either the change of garb brought good luck for the A's or the uniforms blinded the Angels lineup.
