Anthony Rizzo hit an inside-the-park home run off of Billy Hamilton's face
The Chicago Cubs opened the floodgates fairly early on Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds, scoring three runs in the first inning before recording an out. All three of those runs were scored on Anthony Rizzo's inside-the-park home run, which caromed off of Billy Hamilton's face as he attempted to make a sliding catch.
The ball appeared to glance off of left fielder Adam Duvall's glove before hitting Hamilton in the face and rolling all the way to the wall.
Hamilton was forced to leave the game after remaining on the ground for several minutes. He was replaced by Tyler Holt in center.
