Albert Pujols took a 92-mph pitch to the head but stayed in the game

Albert Pujols had quite the eventful and frightening night on Tuesday. He was the driving force behind the Los Angeles Angels' 8-6 win over the first-place Texas Rangers with two home runs and six RBIs -- both of which were three-run shots, coming in back-to-back innings.

And then came the seventh inning when Pujols took a 92-mph fastball off the bill of his helmet, which seemingly caught a part of his face, too. His bat and helmet both went flying as he hit dropped to the ground. Both the pitcher, Tony Barnette, and the Angels training staff raced to check on Pujols.

Incredibly (and fortunately), the 36-year-old slugger was able to stay in the game. That's hard to believe after seeing photos of the pitch.
