After collision and two-homer games, Astros' Altuve, Correa crack a joke

Friday night's game was ugly for the Houston Astros. Not only did they lose (again) to the first-place Texas Rangers, but star second baseman Jose Altuve left early after a scary collision with shortstop Carlos Correa in shallow center field.

After passing a postgame concussion test, Altuve was back out on the field for Saturday's contest...and promptly hit two home runs in the Astros' big win. Correa, too, smacked two homers in the game as neither infielder showed any ill effects from Friday's run-in.

As Altuve told David Barron of the Houston Chronicle, Correa made light of the collision with the following: “(Correa) said … I have to punch you again in the face so that you can hit the homers,” Altuve said. “Not a good idea.”

Probably a good idea not to try that...
