During the fifth inning of the Texas Rangers-Seattle Mariners game on Thursday, Rangers DH Adrian Beltre showed his strength and balance with a weird single to left field.

Watch in the video (above) as Beltre chops Taijuan Walker's chin-high pitch with such force that his back knee drops to the ground where he remains while tracking the ball to left before rising out of the batter's box on his way to first base. With plate coverage like that, it's no wonder why Beltre doesn't strike out very often.
