Adam Wainwright gave an interview from a bathroom stall and it produced some awful puns
Baseball has one of the most demanding schedules in sports. Since baseball players are always at the park, their free time is at a premium from April through October. St. Louis Cardinals ace Adam Wainwright showed just how little free time ballplayers have these days when he pulled double duty Tuesday by combing a bathroom break with an interview.
That's right. Wainwright actually asked to hold an interview from a bathroom stall, and the result was a hilarious combination of relevant commentary and bold puns.
Just look at how proud Wainwright is as he emerges from the bathroom. That is a man who knows he has gone where few others have dared to go.
Wainwright's bathroom interview took place hours after news broke that New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey suffered from blood clots in his bladder from not taking bathroom breaks frequently enough. Perhaps Wainwright was simply trying to avoid the same fate.
