A-Rod 'obviously disappointed' he didn't make All-Star team
The New York Yankees will be represented in the All-Star Game by Dellin Betances and Mark Teixeira (and possibly Brett Gardner), but the biggest snub might be Alex Rodriguez.
After a big first half, many thought A-Rod would make a solid choice as an All-Star, but was ultimately snubbed. Here's what he told reporters about missing out:
"The fact that I'm in the conversation makes me happy. I'm obviously disappointed. It would have been fun to go out and represent the American League, that's for sure."
A-Rod has been to 11 All-Star Games, but hasn't been selected since 2011.
