15 years ago: Derek Jeter hits walk-off home run, becomes Mr. November

Just four minutes after the clock struck midnight and the calendar flipped from October to November, Derek Jeter belted a walk-off home run off Byung-Hyun Kim in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Yankees to a 4–3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 4 of the 2001 World Series.

The Diamondbacks led by two runs in the ninth inning before Tino Martinez hit a two-out, two-run homer off Kim to even up the score.

Jeter was 1-for-11 in the World Series before his shot off Kim.
