U.S. Open caddie injures ankle by falling into a bunker

Pro golfers have been dreading the treacherous hazards at Oakmont, site of the 2016 U.S. Open, and a bunker on the sixth hole claimed its first victim Tuesday before the tournament even started. The caddie of Chris Crawford suffered an ankle injury after sliding down a hill into a bunker.

Crawford, an amateur, earned his spot through a sectional qualifier with a spectacular 40-foot putt.
