The coolest part about winning on the PGA Tour is this letter from Arnold Palmer
Billy Hurley III got into Tiger Woods' Quicken Loans National on a sponsor's invitational and won his first career PGA Tour event in June, vaulting himself up nearly 500 places in the world golf rankings and securing a full-time spot on the PGA Tour.
The $1.2 million winner's check is a nice prize, but Hurley also received a priceless letter from golf legend Arnold Palmer after his breakthrough victory. Palmer has made it a tradtion to write letters to players congratulating them on their success, and Hurley was looking forward to his note from The King.
I first saw this a few yrs ago posted by another player & thought "I can't wait to get one of those" Yesterday I did pic.twitter.com/PILCNGuNms
