Phil Mickelson loses the lead for the first time at the British Open
Whether it was Phil Mickelson losing the lead or Henrik Stenson taking it ... it happened early during their third round at the British Open on Saturday.
Mickelson began the day with a one-shot lead over Stenson, who shot a 6-under 65 on Friday during his charge. And Stenson was still sharp Saturday, earning birdies on three of his first four holes to pass Mickelson on the leaderboard at 12 under.

It wasn't as if Mickelson was struggling, however, as he made three pars and a birdie on his first four holes.
Stenson is in pursuit of his first major championship, while Mickelson is aiming for his sixth.
