Kang 2-up on Korda at US Women's Amateur final

Danielle Kang holds a 2-up lead on Jessica Korda after 18 holes in the final at the U.S. Women's Amateur, with 18 more holes scheduled for the afternoon.

Kang made five birdies Sunday, including three on the first four holes. No player won more than two consecutive holes in the round at Charlotte Country Club. Kang and Korda halved six holes during the first round.

Kang never trailed. She was a quarterfinalist in July at the U.S. Girls' Junior at Pinehurst.

Korda has made the cut in two U.S. Women's Opens. She squared the match on the third hole.

This U.S. Golf Association event began with 156 players and arrived at its finalists after two stroke-play rounds and five match-play rounds.
