Hey Akron, dinner's on Bubba

Winning the 2012 Masters in a playoff after entering the final round three strokes behind is one way to develop a fan base.

Feeding them after a full day of work is a good way to keep them in your corner, too.

That's what Bubba Watson did Friday in Akron, Ohio, after shooting a 1-under 69 at Firestone Country Club at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

After leaving the course, Watson showed up at a local Chipotle restaurant, where he sprang for dinner for about 60 customers, running up a tab of almost $500.

According to a tweet from Paul Tesori, who caddies for Webb Simpson, Watson also tipped the restaurant staff to the tune of $100.
