Gulbis engaged to former Yale QB
Natalie Gulbis doesn’t have a wedding date yet, nor does she have a venue picked out. All she knows is that by the end of 2013, she’ll be married to Josh Rodarmel, a former Yale quarterback and 1-handicap.
“This is my 12th year on tour,” said Gulbis, who was in Las Vegas practicing in triple-digit heat Monday afternoon. “I’m 30 and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.”
Gulbis met Rodarmel a few years ago through her affiliation with Power Balance bracelets, a company Rodarmel co-founded with his brother Troy.
Rodarmel, 29, recently helped to launch a new venture called Vrou, a women’s nutrition company. Gulbis said he also has a consulting company.
As for the upcoming nuptials, Gulbis said they’ll likely get married on a beach. They’re both the laid-back sort, with a friendship turned romance that was built on tennis, paddle-boarding and church, not to mention LPGA tournaments.
“It makes every day better and every challenge easier,” said Gulbis.
