FISHER'S FOCUS

ROSS FISHER has put the Ryder Cup celebrations behind him and is now concentrating on this week's Portuguese Masters.

And he will be hoping to cash in on the absence of defending champion and fellow Englishman Lee Westwood who is resting following a recurrence of a calf injury.

Fisher said: "I enjoyed playing at Oceanico Victoria last year. I've got a good record there and went close a couple of years ago. It's a place where I usually seem to do well so I hope that's the case again."

The 29-year-old has acclimatised well following last week's Ryder Cup success. He added: "I had a great time at Celtic Manor and I feel like my game is in good shape.

"But my attention has switched back to The Race to Dubai. I was fourth last year and I'd like to better that this season."
