Bubba Watson is taking his son to the movies before his U.S. Open tee time
Bubba Watson had only a few holes to finish up Friday morning from this first round of the 2016 U.S. Open, which was suspended Thursday after a storm engulfed Oakmont.
Watson resumed play at 7:30 a.m. ET and was done before 9 a.m.
Since 78 players didn't hit a single shot on Thursday, there's a lot of golf that needs to be played Friday before Round 2 can officially begin. Watson's second round was officially scheduled for 8:21 p.m. on Friday, giving him some 11 hours before he'd have to play any golf again (it's highly unlikely he tees off at all -- Round 2 will have to be completed Saturday morning).
So what does Bubba plan to do all day? Check out a movie with his 4-year-old son Caleb.
Update: Dash Day, Jason's son, joined the Watsons at the movies while his dad was playing his first round on Friday. Golf and the movies -- not a bad day.
