The field of talented young golfers on the PGA Tour stands to get a bit more crowded with the return of Anthony Kim.

The No. 13 player in the world announced Tuesday via his Facebook page that he plans to play in the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational.

The tournament will mark the 25-year-old's first PGA Tour event in three months after undergoing surgery in May on a torn ligament in his left thumb.

Kim began hitting golf balls again earlier this month, according to PGATour.com.
