Zach Hoffpauir leaves Cardinal for MLB

Stanford safety Zach Hoffpauir has decided to forgo his senior year at Stanford and sign with the Arizona Diamondbacks. 

Hoffpauir was one of Stanford's most experienced defensive players and would have been a key member of the Cardinal secondary in 2015.

Instead, the Cardinal are left with a massive hole in the defensive backfield. Only fifth-year senior Ronnie Harris has started a game among the returning members of the defensive backfield.
