WVU's Karl Joseph named Jim Thorpe Defensive Back of the Week

The awards just keep rolling on in for West Virginia defensive back Karl Joseph.

Joseph, who accounted for four turnovers against Georgia Southern, was recently named the Big 12 defensive player of the week. Then, he was named the Jim Thorpe Defensive Back of the Week in all of college football. Rumor has it that Thorpe guy was pretty good.

Joseph beat out Josh Harvey-Clemons of Louisville, Justin Thomas of Utah and Tiguan Lang of Marshall for the defensive end of the week honor.
