Wofford 45, Chattanooga 14

Eric Breitenstein rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns as Wofford wrapped up the regular season with a 45-14 victory over Chattanooga on Saturday.

The Terriers (9-2, 7-1 Southern Conference) rolled up 474 yards of total offense, including 295 on the ground to finish 5-0 at home this season.

Breitenstein's first two touchdown runs of 37 and 2 yards gave Wofford a 14-0 lead.

Chattanooga (6-5, 5-3) cut the advantage to 14-7 on Erroll Wynn's 4-yard run, but Mitch Allen threw a 43-yard scoring pass to Brenton Bersin for a 21-7 halftime lead.

Breitenstein added a 2-yard touchdown and Allen, who rushed for 65 yards, scored on an 11-yard run in the second half.

Allen also was 7 of 9 for 165 yards passing and Bersin had six catches for 146 yards.

B.J. Coleman was 15 of 34 for 210 yards, connecting with Joel Bradford eight times for 121 yards.
