Will former Alabama pledge end up at LSU?

A one-time pledge to Alabama, 2016 athlete Shyheim Carter has a plethora of programs garnering for his services.

The 6'0", 190-pound 4-star prospect out of Kentwood, La. is an exceptional athlete. Carter has been timed (courtesy of 247Sports) at 4.33 in the 40-yard dash. From a versatility standpoint, Carter is exceptional on both sides of the ball -- as both a corner and as a receiver.

Although LSU had been on the outskirts somewhat in regards to his recruitment, Tiger Droppings reported Carter taking an unexpected visit to LSU on Monday.

Georgia, Miami, Alabama, Michigan, and Ole Miss are all salivating at the shot to sign him. Carter visited Tuscaloosa officially this past weekend, and will head to Oxford on the final weekend before signing day.

There is a major trump card in this equation -- which ultimately could bode well for LSU. Carter not only purportedly has a good relationship with LSU defensive coach Ed Orgeron, but he also has two young children in the area.

As such, these aspects could help LSU land yet another immensely talented in-state prospect.
