Sports Illustrated recently did a conference preview for the Big 12 where the highs and the lows of the conference were explained as well as some other issues, players and games to watch were noted. You can see that here. Coach Bob Stoops is llisted as a coach on the hot seat and Baylor is picked to win the conference with an 8-1 record.
Sports Illustrated didn't make a prediction on whether a Big 12 team will make the playoff, but both TCU and Baylor were ranked among the magazine's top four in its preseason rankings. Here's the complete top 25 from Sports Illustrated.
