Who tops Wall Street Journal's list of most valuable college football programs?

Alabama won its 10th national championship -- on the field -- Monday night, but the Crimson Tide pale in comparison to last season's champ when it comes to quite a prestigious off-the-field ranking.

The Ohio State Buckeyes top the Wall Street Journal's annual valuation of collegiate football programs. Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus professor Ryan Brewer runs the annual study into the values of NCAA gridiron programs, and this year the 2014 national champions check in at No. 1 with a value of nearly $1 billion.

Brewer’s study values the Buckeyes at $946.61 million. By comparison, Alabama checks in at No. 5, more than a quarter-billion dollars below Ohio State. Here is the rest of the Top 10:
