Which Spartan could help Michigan State the earliest?

Wide receiver Donnie Corley is Michigan State's highest-rated recruit at No. 93 nationally per Scout.com. He also enrolled early, so he will get a head start on trying to fill spots at a position that lost two starters and four of seven players from the last published depth chart of 2015.

Although Michigan State will also be breaking in a new starting quarterback, there is little doubt head coach Mark Dantonio and co-coordinators Dave Warner and Jim Bollman will want to maintain a balanced offense, so new playmakers must be found on the outside.

At 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, Corley is a big target who excelled on both sides of the ball at Detroit King High School.

He was the No. 1-rated player in the state of Michigan for the 2016 cycle.

On tape, Corley shows big hands, good leaping ability, great ball skills and the ability to track the deep ball in the air.

He appears to have the frame to grow into a receiver in a similar mold of 2015 Big Ten Receiver of the Year Aaron Burbridge, one of the starters looking to find a spot in the NFL in 2016.
