What are Notre Dame's odds of winning the next national title?

Notre Dame narrowly missed the College Football Playoff this past season, coming a couple of close losses to top 10 teams from a perfect season. 

The decisive loss to Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl and four early departures to the NFL might have knocked some of the petals off the rose, but oddsmakers at Bovada are not dismissing the Fighting Irish's chances of winning it all next season. 

Early odds released Wednesday have Notre Dame as a 14/1 shot. 

That puts them on par with LSU, Oklahoma and Stanford. 

Alabama leads the way at 7/1 while Clemson is 15/2. 

Baylor, Michigan and Ohio State are all 12/1.
