West Virginia, Pitt agree to bring back 'Backyard Brawl'
Undoubtedly, the worst aspect of conference realignment has been the loss of dozens of different longstanding rivalry games across the country. Well, you can cross one off the list. West Virginia and Pittsburgh have agreed to resume the “Backyard Brawl,” starting in 2022. WVU’s athletic director, Shane Lyons, announced the news Thursday afternoon.

Pittsburgh will get home games in 2022 and 2024, while West Virginia will host in 2023 and 2025. Here’s more, via West Virginia:
The “Backyard Brawl” is one of college football’s most historic and entertaining rivalries. The Panthers lead the all-time series 61-40-3.
