Week four depth chart offers some changes for Mizzou

The week four depth chart for Missouri offers plenty in the way of conversation.

The biggest news is the expected return of running back Russell Hansbrough. Mizzou's do-everything back, he's listed atop the depth chart for the upcoming clash versus Kentucky this weekend. Hansbrough's return can't come soon enough for an offense struggling to score points. The running back corps as a whole is rushing for a meager 3.2 yards-per-carry average on the season. With Hansbrough's ankle injury, he's been limited to only seven carries for 38 yards on the year.

Freshman defensive tackle Terry Beckner, Jr. has usurped the starting gig from Rickey Hatley. The elite freshman out of East St. Louis has been more consistent with his play of late. An absolute man-child, he's started to demonstrate why he was considered one of top high school prospects in the 2015 class.

Another freshman defensive lineman, Walter Brady, has taken the starting role from junior college transfer Marcell Frazier. Brady had two big sacks in a reserve role versus Connecticut this past Saturday. Also of note, Taylor Chappell will stay as the starting left guard. Earlier in the year, he had been behind sophomore Alec Abeln.
