WATCH: Punter Tom Hackett calls BYU 'bastards,' says Cougars living in Utah's world

Utah's Tom Hackett is one of the greatest punters in college football history. Apparently, he's also an incredible trash-talker.

The 23-year old Australian, who has twice won the Ray Guy Award and is the youngest member of the Pac-12's All-Century team, threw some serious shade at BYU prior to the Las Vegas Bowl.

"I'm lucky enough to be one of the many players on the football team that actually has never lost to these bastards," Hackett said during an event prior to the Las Vegas Bowl. "Which leads me to end and say, this is Utah's world and BYU is living in it."

Hackett's assertion that BYU is living in Utah's world appeared to be wildly accurate early in Saturday's game. The Utes forced five BYU turnovers on the Cougars' first five possessions and led 35-0 after the first quarter. However, BYU then scored 28 straight points, and the Utes had to hang on for the win.
