Watch: Louisville's Lamar Jackson hangs five touchdowns on Florida State
Lamar Jackson rocked college football with a dominant showing against Florida State on Saturday, engineering a 43-point blowout win for Louisville and placing himself squarely in the early Heisman conversation.
The dual-threat quarterback threw for 216 yards and a touchdown with one interception, but did the majority of his damage (and Louisville’s) on the ground, dissecting the Seminoles’ defense for 146 yards and four scores on 17 carries.
We’ve got all his scores in one place.
Below is the first touchdown, a short plunge to open the scoring.
And the second one:
The lone passing touchdown made it 28–10, and the Seminoles never fully recovered.
Here was Jackson’s third rushing touchdown, the first three all coming in the first half.
Here’s his final rushing touchdown...a 47-yard scramble.
No. 10 Louisville topped No. 2 FSU by a score of 63–20. Jackson and the Cardinals are due for an obvious uptick in the next set of polls.
Louisville next faces Marshall on the road.
