WATCH: Could Florida be primed to snag another elite 2016 QB?

While Florida already possesses the commitment from top 2016 quarterback Feleipe Franks, it doesn't mean that they're done recruiting the position.

Fellow elite prep signal-caller Dwayne Haskins Jr. is committed to hometown Maryland -- but the Potomac native has his eyes on Jim McElwain's program.

Like Franks, Haskins is an athletic player with true dual-threat ability. Not just a runner, Haskins has the arm strength to spread the ball to all parts of the field.

LSU and Ohio State are also in the hunt for the quarterback. Should Florida be able to sign both Franks and Haskins, it'd immensely boost both the talent and depth at the quarterback position for Florida.

With Will Grier leaving the program, the stable of signal-callers on the roster is even more paper-thin than it was previously. With Treon Harris and Luke Del Rio both lacking in experience, there's no question one of Haskins or Franks could theoretically come in and make an impact right away.
