Vols QB Joshua Dobbs steals pylon after win over Vandy but is forced to give it back

Tennessee dominated in its regular-season finale Saturday against in-state rival Vanderbilt 53-28.

Quarterback Joshua Dobbs did pretty well for himself, too, recording 233 total yards and finding the end zone three times.

But his final play in the end zone didn't go over as well.

As the final seconds ticked off the clock, Dobbs and running back Alvin Kamara took out two pylons in the end zone at Neyland Stadium. Dobbs was seen carrying his around during post-game handshakes and the singing of the Alma Mater.

An error occurred while retrieving the Instagram post. It might have been deleted.

But the players' time with the pylon was brief. They were forced to give them back because they were property of ESPN and possibly had cameras in them.

This wasn't Dobbs' first attempt at absconding with a pylon this season. In September, following the Vols' 59-30 win over Bowling Green, Dobbs went home with a souvenir.

Apparently, it's a new tradition this season for the Vols to take home a signed pylon after every home victory.

Just make sure they don't have an expensive camera inside of them.
