Virginia DT Andrew Brown has an opportunity to earn more playing time
Virginia's future came into focus during spring camp, and several fresh-faced Cavaliers have a chance to contribute this fall.
Norm Wood of the Daily Press named five players with an opportunity to earn more playing time this fall and defensive tackle Andrew Brown highlighted the list.
Brown is quicker and 25 pounds lighter than he was last year, according to Wood. A turf-toe injury robbed Brown of his explosiveness as a freshman, but now he's poised for a breakout with Virginia's defense starving for superstars to replace those who've departed.
Wood also identified safety Kelvin Rainey, running back Daniel Hamm, center Jackson Matteo and linebacker Micah Kiser as players with potential to see the field more in 2015.
