VIDEO: A look back at Florida's dominating win over Ole Miss

Florida took a gigantic leap towards relevancy on the national spotlight with its resounding 38-10 victory over the then-ranked No. 3 Ole Miss Rebels.

Jim McElwain's team played with exorbitant amounts of passion and energy in this contest. From the first whistle, there was no question Florida exhibited great purpose.

Signal-caller Will Grier was a stellar 24-of-29 for 271 yards and four touchdowns. He made every throw when he needed to, and did a terrific job of taking care of the ball.

Defensively, the Gators' unit disrupted everything Ole Miss and quarterback Chad Kelly wanted to do. The Rebels averaged only 2.1 yards per carry on the ground, and were victimized by four turnovers.

Not only did the victory add even more of a tangible buzz around Gainesville, but it validated Florida as a major threat in the conference.
