Van Winkle, Durkee named to preseason award watch lists

Washington kicker Cameron Van Winkle and punter Korey Durkee were named to the Lou Groza Award and Ray Guy Award preseason watch lists. 

Van Winkle, a junior from Fall City, Wash., was named to the Groza Award watch list. The award is presented to the nations most outstanding kicker. Van Winkle went 20-of-24 on field goals in 2014.

Durkee, a senior from Gig Harbor, Wash., was named to the Ray Guy Award watch list. The award is presented annually to the nations best punter. In 2014, Durkee had 63 punts that averaged 42.1 yards.
