USC's Su'a Cravens wants black alternate uniforms

Burbank, Calif. -- USC coach Steve Sarkisian is a fan of tradition.

When asked about alternate uniforms, Sark said he wouldn't be opposed to it, but expect the Trojans to wear their traditional Cardinal and Gold uniforms in 2015.

The subject, however, is a whole other matter for the kids.

Su'a Cravens told reporters at Pac-12 Media Days that he's a fan of the shiny helmets USC debuted last year, and he also has a suggestion.

"I'm all about tradition but I wouldn't mind a matte black uniform," Cravens said via Reign of Troy. 

Nike is USC's supplier, so if Sarkisian and the traditionalists are OK with it there's no reason it can't get done.
