USC's legacy runs deep in the family

USC has a storied football history that's arguably unparalleled. But the Trojans also have a history of keeping things in the family.

ESPN's Gary Katz has a rundown of USC's unique legacy history, from father-son who donned USC's iconic uniform to coaching fathers and coaching sons.

Perhaps the most recognizable trio? The Matthews: Clay Jr. (1974-77); Clay III (2005-2008); and Kyle Matthews.

"If the Allan Graf family has some competition as the Trojans First Family of Football, it would be the Matthews clan," Katz writes. "Clay Jr. was a 1977 All-America and starter on the 1974 national champions while son Clay lll grew into a beast of a linebacker his final season at Troy. Clay lll has since gone to NFL fame with the Green Bay Packers. Kyle was a competitive walk-on."

It's a fun read for any USC fan.
