USC linebacker Su'a Cravens is one of ten Butkus Award semifinalists
USC junior linebacker Su'a Cravens is one of the most feared defenders in the NCAA, and his impressive play has earned notice.
Cravens was selected as one of ten semifinalists for the Butkus Award, which is an annual award given to the top linebacker in college football. Cravens has recorded 50 tackles (7.5 for a loss), two interceptions and a forced fumble for USC.
Only one USC player, Chris Clairborne, has won the Butkus Award. He took home the honor in 1998.
