UCLA QB Josh Rosen made surprise house call to Jim Mora following loss to USC
The day after losing to USC, UCLA head coach Jim Mora was "in the tank" as he sat on a couch in his home. Then, out of nowhere, Bruins quarterback Josh Rosen showed up.
"Didn't even knock," Mora said, via the Los Angeles Times. "Just walked into the house and laid down on the couch next to me and said, 'We got it. We'll be all right. We'll get over it.'"
Rosen, the Pac-12's offensive freshman of the year, stayed at the Mora house for about an hour. According to the Times, Rosen and Mora watched NFL games on television, talked football and discussed what had gone wrong against the Trojans.
"So it's kind of interesting when an 18-year-old kid is trying to pick you up, but that's kind of the way he is," Mora said.
